Prepare a requirements management plan (RMP) that addresses the five components described in Section 5.1.3.2, PMBOK 6e. The plan should be at least 3 but not exceed 4 pages and does need to conform to APA guidelines (citing and referencing sources).

Some things to think about – how is the role of the in-house rep dealt with in the RMP as it relates to activities for planning, tracking and reporting requirements? Configuration management is not just about software and versioning. What processes will be used for configuration management activities as they relate to changes in the product requirements? How and who will authorize/approve changes? The traceability structure should be tailored to the type of project and should ensure that each requirement adds business value.

Please go to Exercise 3.3 of Chapter 3 of your textbook (Page 117). The exercise is as follows:

Ms. Jones is a clerk in a small office that faces frequent deadlines. There is constant pressure on the staff to increase production. Very often there are arguments among the staff; more often than not, Ms. Jones seems to be the instigator of the arguments. Although Ms. Jones’s work is satisfactorily completed, the unit’s production is often late and incomplete, and morale is very low.

D0501 – Constraints to Assessing the Internal Organization Environment

When you embark on an assessment of the organization’s internal environment, there are inevitable constraints and hurdles that you encounter. To successfully complete an internal assessment, you must persevere through and overcome these potential “derailers.”

List two such constraints. For each constraint, identify what you feel would be an effective way to remove or lessen the constraint so you could successfully conduct the assessment of the organization’s internal environment.
