Your group has the opportunity to research an organization that has failed because it was unsuccessful in implementing innovation. You may choose an organization of your own or one of the following: Blockbuster, Polaroid, Blackberry, Sears, Toys ‘R’ Us, Xerox, Atari, Kodak, or Borders. In this assignment, you will build PowerPoint presentation with a title slide, presenter’s notes, and references slide. In your presentation, address the following questions:

1. What failing organization did you choose? (2 slides)
2. What external factors contributed to the organization’s failure? (2 slides)
3. What internal factors contributed to the organization’s failure? (2 slides)

Prepare a requirements management plan (RMP) that addresses the five components described in Section 5.1.3.2, PMBOK 6e. The plan should be at least 3 but not exceed 4 pages and does need to conform to APA guidelines (citing and referencing sources).

Some things to think about – how is the role of the in-house rep dealt with in the RMP as it relates to activities for planning, tracking and reporting requirements? Configuration management is not just about software and versioning. What processes will be used for configuration management activities as they relate to changes in the product requirements? How and who will authorize/approve changes? The traceability structure should be tailored to the type of project and should ensure that each requirement adds business value.

Ms. Jones is a clerk in a small office that faces frequent deadlines. There is constant pressure on the staff to increase production.
