Prepare an in-depth analysis of four case studies during the semester. Here are some guidelines:

• This is an individual assessment, which is a part from your course score. It requires effort and critical thinking
• This assignment will worth 25 mark (Case Studies Questions 15 Marks/ Presentation 10 Marks)
• Answer all the questions listed below for each case.
• The ‘answers’ to the questions are best formulated by reviewing the case and the reading materials up and including the current week in the course.
• The questions are worded to help you apply the readings to the case, so don’t limit yourself to the case’s terminology and perspective. The best analysis will abstract the case content by applying the reading materials to draw broader lessons about the material
• As for the Presentation you should summarize your analysis of only one case study in a set of PowerPoint slides

Assignment Questions:

• Should there be a global standard for toy manufacturing? What are some of the benefits and what are some of the drawbacks of a potential global quality and manufacturing standard?
• With some 80 percent of the toys sold in the United States being manufactured in China, should the United States place greater emphasis on its toy-trading relationship with China? Could the United States control China’s manufacturing more than it does today? How?
• The Flint, Michigan, water crisis highlighted a major issue in the United States regarding old lead-based pipes used to transport water to the community. This came to light in Flint due to the failure of applying corrosion inhibitors to the water when the city leadership decided to switch water sources. What global fail-safe mechanisms should be enforced on water consumption, and other consumable products, to safeguard from potential lead poisoning?

Describe a leadership position you have assumed either amongst your friends, family, at work or in a civic/volunteer organization. It can be a temporary role you assumed, even as simple as deciding amongst your friends which movie to see on Saturday.
