Written Report, Due September 24, 2019: Invention Backstory: How did it really happen?

Many great inventions are often the result of serendipity or chance occurrences. Pick a technology invention, investigate how the inventor made the breakthrough discovery that put him or her on the path to commercializing their invention

Please adhere to the following guidelines:

Write-up must be printed on 8 1/2 x 11 paper (no handwritten papers will be accepted). Use 12-point font and 1.5 spaced lines

Report should include a 1 page executive summary with no more than 4 additional pages of text, not including illustrations, exhibits, and tables.

Staple

all the pages together in the upper left-hand corner.

Proofread

the paper for spelling mistakes and grammatical errors

Keep in mind that it’s not only the backstory on the individual, but the story of their journey to realizing their invention or inventions. Share your fascination or inspiration, and please do share stories about people you admire who may not have their own Wiki pages.
