Week 6- Create an Instructional Draft
Question Description
By this point in the course, you should have a good understanding of Instructional Design models and best practices. You have reviewed case studies specifically on front-end analysis. Finally, you have written a goal and objectives in support of your Signature Assignment (to be completed in Week 8).
This week, you will submit a draft of your Signature Assignment.
Overview of Signature Assignment: For your Signature Assignment, you will create an instructional video along with a PDF/script containing graphics for illustrative purposes. Recommendation: Use a procedural (step-by-step) task for your draft and your Signature Assignment. See Week 8 for more information on the Signature Assignment.
For this draft, and to assist you as you create your Signature Assignment, you will turn in the verbiage for your PDF (without graphics) that will also serve as a script for your video. This is also a best practice—especially for ADA compliance. You’ll include graphics in your final Signature Assignment.
You will also include a description of your ideal learning environment for this instruction. It can be online or in person (as the eventual goal is to create an instructional video). You will want to include any technology that is required and any other pertinent information (time of day, length of the total learning experience, LMS, approximate classroom size, number of learners, etc.)
Length: 5-7 pages
References: Include a minimum of 4 credible resources
Your proposal should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect graduate-level writing and APA standards. Be sure to adhere to Northcentral University’s Academic Integrity Policy.
The task is solving a math word problem…geared toward elementary students
