1. Dr. Cal Newport is a professor and researcher. The data he presents in this video is research-based, not merely his opinion.

2. Of course some people successfully follow their passions into passionate careers. Statistically, however, that doesn’t work for most people. Please keep an open mind as you watch.

3. See this article in the Atlantic about new research concerning following your passion as career development advice.
