Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to develop a rubric for emergent reading skills in four year old children.

Directions:

For this assignment, you will :

1. Design a developmental rubric for emerging reading skills in four-year-olds following the guidelines below.
2. Find benchamrks (you’ll see them listed under the four objectives) for beginning readers to develop the characteristics for different stages of development. First study the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards for Four-Year-Olds (Links to an external site.) (PDF)List five benchmarks of the Emergent Reader (section F) (pages 98- 112) and use them as your goals.
3. Organize the rubric into three levels.
4. Next, determine what the child will be able to do to accomplish each level of the rubric.

Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to analyze how test scores are interpreted and used to report student progress and program effectiveness.

Directions:

This assignment includes two parts.

Part 1:

1. Develop a Venn Diagram explaining the differences and common characteristics between norm-referenced and criterion-referenced tests.

Part 2:

1. Visit (or interview) with an elementary school counselor/teacher to find out how standardized test results are used and reported, especially in the area of parental reporting.
2. Discuss with a teacher of children with special needs how standardized tests are used to identify such children and create individual educational plans (IEP) for them. Reflect on the process used with one child without including any names.
3. Then, develop a report on how to best report the results of the standardized tests for both cases and what specific plan(s) can be developed to improve the scores.
4. Save your work (parts 1 & 2) as a word document and upload it in the Dropbox.

For this task, you will conduct in-depth research of recruitment violations previously occurring throughout the NCAA. By using the NCAA Legislative Services Database, located under your weekly resources, select two recruitment violations previously occurring at the collegiate level. Next, write an essay including the following:

• Explain the infractions.
• Justify the penalties from previous infractions and precedents.
• Provide your opinion(s) on whether the sanctions were fair or needed to be altered.
• Present new procedures you would implement to prevent these types of violations in the future and explain the logic behind each procedure.

Length: 5–7 pages, not including title and reference pages

Organizing your resources to yield maximum returns and fulfill financial obligations while providing solutions to target customer needs is the main theme. In this phase of your business plan you must outline the duties and responsibilities for getting your new business venture through fruition. This would include who will actually write the business plan and who will implement the plans to build a venture. An understanding of how to make a venture team work effectively, constructing a solid external Advisory Board, describe the roles of other stakeholders involved in the venture, and have a plan for legal organizational options for the venture and the implications for liability, protection, and taxes.
