Holdings: a court’s determination of a matter of law based on the issue presented in the particular case.

Write an initial draft (3-5 pages) of your field experience paper including time line and potential roadblocks citing critical aspects of the community delivery systems you current work including specific examples you’d like to improve on. Cite both the reading and lecture notes placing your current practices in the context of the Industrial/Information Age shift, and also present possibilities using the persuasive methodology in the Verbal Judo text for change. This draft will serve as the foundation for your final paper.

– Summarize the dissenting opinion as well, and cite the support used by the dissent in reaching their conclusion.
– Next, answer the following questions:
1. Based on the language from the Supreme Court, do you think that the “Travel Ban” could be extended indefinitely, and if so, under what circumstances?
2. Could additional countries be added to this order based on the Supreme Court rationale?
Based on the Fourth Amendment principles we discussed in class and using the case summaries I provided, consider each action by you and the task force and how it would be looked at under the Fourth Amendment.In other words, what actions constituted a “search” and if an action is a search was it “reasonable.”Also, consider the First Amendment implications of even initiating the investigation. Describe your conclusions and reasoning in a paper consisting of not less than 3 page.
1) Discuss the primary differences between civil litigation and criminal prosecution.
2) Why are criminal defendants given more rights than civil litigants? Provide some examples of the rights afforded to criminal defendants.
3) It is possible to be found not guilty in criminal court, but to be found guilty in civil court. Explain how this is possible.
Provide an example of a scenario where this might be the case such as, murder versus wrongful death or assault versus personal injury.
It is inarguable that the US has one of the highest incarceration rates when compared to rates in other countries. What’s more arguable is what accounts for this phenomenon. I’ve posted the results of a round table where the participants try to get after ‘Why is America so Punitive?”. Take a section and filter their ideas and reasons through those that you have and try to address how incarceration is related to our national perspective of social control.
