Requirements for your narrative

Your paper will be at least 800 words in length when typed. It must be formatted in a 12-point font and double spaced. Set your margins to 1” on all sides. You may choose any point of view you would like to write in but remember that this should be a personal narrative so the story focuses on one character’s quest to achieve a goal.

Critical elements: Good literary narratives share certain elements that make them interesting and compelling for readers.

Consider the (modified) narrative arc:

Exposition –

Setting – give the reader context into your story – how did you arrive at this goal? Where might the events happen?

Climax – the point of no return

What is the penultimate event/experience that will occur once the goal is achieved? Note: it’s probably not the last step, but it critically affected you.

My name is Mark Eisenhour I grew up here in Alexandria I have got two kids both kids graduated from this high school I had been part of the school system 28 years. Began to think about being a principal about three years or so into his career he began to think about adminstration instead of just teaching. The most rewarding part is graduation there are students that he would have never thought that they would graduate. The toughest part in the Human resources part is the rough. Like talk with teacher and told him that they can’t come back .The joy is of the job is the kids and working with directly with kids and a desk job isn’t idea. They also said that he is to nice with the adults. Plus his patient is a good thing. The leadership legacy is that everyone was treated with respect and was fair. For instance, the quality of relationships change, vocational choice might be solidified, formal education might be completed, parenting responsibilities might be present, and changes in physical capacities might set limits on behavior. An adult’s perceived success or failure can influence his/her sense of self and ability to accomplish tasks and navigate changes in early and middle adulthood.

    In the United States, individuation is an important aspect of adulthood. Individuation refers to processes by which you become a unique individual with a distinct sense of identity. The process is sometimes identified as separation-individuation (Berger, 2016). Adulthood is the period in which roles change from that of a dependent child to a more autonomous individual with different responsibilities and commitments.

    Boucher and Maslach (2009) discuss how the type of culture—individualistic or collectivistic—can influence the degree of individuation. Think about how cultural differences can influence the changes that adults face during early and middle adulthood. The influence of culture on these changes impacts individuation. Consider collectivist societies that value conformity over individuality. How does that impact an individual’s sense of uniqueness?
