Discussion 7- Entering the Profession

Literature reviews serve many purposes when conducting research within occupational therapy. In your own words, explain and summarize the purposes and goals of a literature review. Explain why each is important to quality research. Finally, explain why an occupational therapy practitioner would want to perform a literature review rather than simply keeping up with current literature. Be sure to explain all your answers in detail.
