Opening Questions

Asking questions helps us to understand our clients and the issues that are bothering them. Asking too many questions, however, can give the impression that we are desperately seeking some sort of solution or prying. Your goal as a CPJJ professional is to listen and ask open-ended questions that encourage them to tell you more about what has brought them to you for help.
